My First attempt at sewing.

Hi everyone, this is just a quick post before I go to work. Last night I finally got the chance to sit and make something pretty on my new sewing machine. I did spend Saturday afternoon learning how to thread the machine ( thanks to you tube because the manual was crap). I was given some scrap fabric from the material shop in the village and made a mock caravan curtain. So I popped back to the shop yesterday and bought a small piece of the same fabric used on the spare room curtains ( which my mum did a few months ago). This is the result, I was quite impressed with myself I can tell you.

We have not had time to get to the lock up to do any work on the caravan's but as soon as we do I will get some photos.

  6. Your bunting is cute... I'm just now noticing the eyecatching photo of the Caravan and matching Car with the Pink tops! *Swooning*

Wow... 86 mph winds... guess I won't complain about the heat then, I'd rather sweat than be blown away! *winks* My Uncle in Connah's Quay said the weather had been horrible, he loves Arizona but is now too old for traveling, sure do miss his annual visits though... he was a riot in Las Vegas, at the big Casinos that have wandering Singers & Entertainers he'd start singing in his best Tom Jones voice *winks* & he was so good they thought he was part of the Act!!! *LOL*

Thank you for your kind words about my Blog.

I am curious to see what else you are going to sew... (don't know now if that is good Englisch....)
Wish I had your skills so I could dust off my sewingmachine. :)
